Thanks for info Shanae, I have been pricing books all over: half.com, amazon, and textbooks.com. The bookstore is def overpriced. Also medicalscrubsmall.com has great prices for scrubs. I will continue to post any info that may save us some money, and please everyone else continue to do the same.

Generally, I get up at 5am to go to gym. But I think I will have to move it up an hour once classes begin. Lets not even talk about clinicals which will begin at 6am. I will just have to remain dedicated at all cost. Maybe I will have to learn to like the dreadmill.

Thanks for the info. Have you checked half.com, their prices are reasonable as well. Thus far, I am totaling $353.71 with exception of nurse pk. I will keep comparison shopping until I find the lowest cost. The bookstore is out of the question (are you serious?), totally overpriced. I am ordering my uniforms and stethoscope today! found the Bissonnett location and apparently this thug guy was off today. I had a lady. I turned in my paperwork today.....thats a relief, see you all on the 14th.

congrats. I have an appt for...you guessed it The Bissonnett location, I was trying not to drive all over houston and that was the closest for my zipcode. Guess I will take some reading material or a sudoku puzzle. My appt is on 17th, see you both at orientation.

I received my letter today. I am an alternate, and with the way things have been going in my life over the last 2yrs, that is great news.

ok I will let you know. My gpa is 3.78, we should find out SOON! I thought about applying for the RN program, but right now I cannot totally commit to two years. So I hope to get my foot in the door and transition over at a later date. Good luck to all! you have a great score, I have 7.27 not sure if that is good enough, but we shall see. I contacted the admin asst today and letters should go out by end of the is week.
