Has anyone had any experience attending Nursing school at College of the Mainland in Texas City, Texas? I have looked at thier pass rates with the state. How is the program there? Any advice on application/ acceptence?
Kliz / Cezar- How is the program going? Is it extremely tough and what are you hours like. Where do they offer clinicals? Any information would be great.
I'm getting really excited the closer that it gets. I'm hoping to finish all those pre-nursing Rnsg classes during the summer. At Lee college you can take pharmacology online. It's considered a nursing pre-req there so you can take it before being accepted into a nursing program.
Carrie- You have to go up to the nursing dept. and fill out an application to take the class. They let pre-nursing students fill up the rest of the seats available in the class. They had 14 openings and I was number 15. They called me 2 days after I filled out the app and said there was room for me! You could always call monday morning and ask if you can try for it. The class starts Tuesday. Good luck!

I have 152 points. I asked how many points selected applicants had in the past and they said about 125. She said she has even seen some people get in with 100 points. It appears 1 in 2 people that apply get in. That is amazing compared to all the other nursing schools! How many points do you have?
