U.S.A. Tennessee

Hi everyone. Now that the official October 15th deadline for submitting the application packet has passed, is anyone sitting on pins and needles like me?? I just learned that they would contact us via phone if we are accepted.

Does anyone know when they will start calling the people who are accepted? I tried asking the ever so pleasant lady  that answers the phone in the Nursing department and she didn't have answers to any of my questions.

To all of you that are waiting for that phone call, just as I, GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

I know what you mean!! What semester are you in?

First semester!!! I have Adulth Health the first part of next semester, now I wonder should I have signed up for OB instead. I want something fun!!!

From what I've been told, take Adult Health I first. It's supposed to help you with OB. I was told that the last semester, half of the OB class failed because they took it first! Who knows!

WOW!!! Well hopefully it will help because I heard Adult Health I is hard. I'm trying to prepare myself but I can't stop relaxing!! I forgot what it feels like to be relaxed:p

Neither of those statements are correct.

You never know what to believe! I was told by a student who failed OB last semester. Also, one of the OB teachers herself recommended taking ADHI first to help with OB. She said that the people who took OB first, half the class failed. Now, whether or not it's due to not taking ADHI first......who knows. It was just a suggestion from the teacher. I don't know....either way, I'm sure it's tough! Also, third and fourth semester students suggested the same thing. I guess we'll find out soon enough!

Have you all received your permits to register? I have not received anything yet and I just want to see if I any one has been able to register.

I received them yesterday after I emailed her because I was starting to get concerned at how long it was taking. You should get them today. If not, email her for sure.

I spoke with Mary Vines today, and was told that all those receiving fanancial aid were receiving their permits first. If you are concerned, then call Ms. Vines, she was very nice about explaining the process to me. No one can take your spot in any of your classes, so don't worry about that. I just received my permit a few minutes ago, btw.

Can't believe we are almost starting classes!

Thanks! I received my permit about an 30 min after I posted. As the days were going and I saw other people being added and none of them were me... It freaked me out! LOL But I am in now. Time to sit back and enjoy these last couple of weeks before it begins...
