How awful! I know though that in the high school where my husband teaches, the teaches do confiscate cell phones. However, my husband would never touch a student nor try to grab something out of their hands - they are expected to hand it to the teacher as requested. Ouch!

Sad situation. The substitute teacher should have asked the student what was beeping instead of assuming that it was a cellular phone, bad move for the teacher. Just as in nursing, never assume always ,always ask.

    They also have THREE Deputy's!

However, no teacher list is provided, just academic chair...maybe Nurses are included on teacher list. If not, wonder about Gov Bush's priorities.

    Hello, All

I feel the school principle should had notified the teachers that a child could have something that appear of be a cell phone than I do not feel a teacher would had done it.

The Teacher should never touch the child. That is so wrong big time. assult battery. Anyways, the child was dirt poor, I made sure they had something to eat.

Every school is to provide a inservices of their faculty and/or my. Regadreles of, these inservices I would be neogating.

I need to hit the sack ....Have good tomorrow.
