First seizures at school

I have a completely random question, but for any of you who are school nurses out there, do you notice a trend in when student's experience their first seizure. I've been a school nurse for three years now, and every year we've had a different junior high student have their first seizure in school, and eventually go on to be diagnosed with epilepsy. I know seizures can occur at any age, but if I remember right from nursing school they are most commonly diagnosed in the first few years of life or in elderly patients. Just wondering if this is common or just happens to be a coincidence.

I think nits uncommon to see the first seizure at school unless it's from head trauma which I saw once when 2 students collided min the hallway in 9th grade. Also it could be a brain tumor or heridary seizures or caused by drugs. I've seen pseudo seizes caused by stress or anxiety.

It's not unheard of for children to develop epilepsy during puberty. I had it happen to several students as well as my niece. Typically if memory serves i seem to think they were all absence seizures, though I want to say that my niece was having generalized seizures (i never saw her have one).
