  1. I have a completely random question, but for any of you who are school nurses out there, do you notice a trend in when student's experience their first seizure. I've been a school nurse for three years now, and every year we've had a different junior high student have their first seizure in school, and eventually go on to be diagnosed with epilepsy. I know seizures can occur at any age, but if I remember right from nursing school they are most commonly diagnosed in the first few years of life or in elderly patients. Just wondering if this is common or just happens to be a coincidence.
