Working as an ADN RN while attending school for a BSN

I am a student at a California community college with an excellent ADN program. I hear that BSN is the way to go, so I plan on earning a BSN while working as an ADN RN. The question I have is, if I get an ADN, is it likely that I can obtain a job where I can work 3-4 days a week at most? I ask because I need days where I can work on BSN school work.

Since many/most nursing jobs entail 12-hour shifts, you would likely be working 3-4 days/week at most.

Nevertheless, I find that working on a degree program while working M-F 40 hours a week is quite doable.

I agree, it is do-able. You could also consider doing an online program if that would be of interest to you...it's very flexible.

And people LOVE weekend workers.

I would encourage you to look into on-line learning programs. Those programs work around whatever schedule you have. I am an ADN who is working, raising a family, and still doing very well (so far) in my BSN program.

I'm an RN who is educated at the associate degree level. I work three 12 hour night shifts per week while pursuing a BSN degree online, so the OP's plan is definitely feasible.
