I am taking pre-reqs and getting ready to apply. I would love to hear from others who are applying.

Hi! I'm currently studying for the GRE and plan to start the application process when it opens in August. Like you, I'm also working on my pre-reqs.

I am also studying for the GRE. I need to make a really good score to make up for my average GPA. When are you taking the GRE, Igh23? Are you going to apply to the Athens or Augusta campus?

Hi, kate8888!

I hear you about making a good GRE score to balance out an average GPA. I'm scheduled to take the GRE on August 22. Have you scheduled a date yet? My plan is to list Athens as my first choice and Augusta as my second. I live in Athens and prefer to attend school here, but I'm not going to turn down this amazing opportunity if I'm accepted and offered Augusta. What about you, Athens or Augusta?

Hey Everyone,

Has anyone started their application yet?

I've started working on mine. What about you, NICUNurseToBe?

Same here. I'm almost done studying for the MAT. All my pre-requisites are complete. I'm finishing up my degree now.

I was supposed to take the GRE on the 22nd of August, but when I tried to check in they told me that I had to reschedule because of some technological issues. :no: So I'm now taking it tomorrow. Whew! I will be so glad to have that out of the way. Good luck in your studies for the MAT! Have you scheduled it yet? What degree will you earn? I graduated from UGA in 2011 with a BS in psychology.

Well Good Luck!!! I wish you the best. I know right; it seems like taking the test is the worst part out of everything. Hahaha Thanks so much I really appreciate it. I will be graduating with a BS in Psychology as well.

I don't know how to tag so if someone could help me out. I'm new to this.

The statistics for Fall 2016 Class:

GPA=3.4

MAT=421

GRE=305

This is the class average, but from previous threads have seen lower.

I'm not sure how to tag people either. When I post a comment, I hit reply and I thought that would be how to do it. Maybe if you quote someone, it's like tagging?

I'm done with the GRE, thank goodness! I'm feeling pretty good since I scored a little bit over the newly admitted class's average.

This may be a silly question, but are you filling out the experiences portion of the application in addition to submitting the resume? I was unsure if we needed to fill out the experiences section since they are receiving a resume. It seems redundant, but I'll probably do it anyway. Better too much information than too little, maybe?
