I just sent in my final piece for admissions, my essay. Now, I wait. I will find out in October if I'm accepted for spring start. I've waiting so long to get here. Anyone else playing the waiting game???

crittytn what program? Are you the one who's at MTSU? Congrats!!!

Congrats... It's ok to be the new person.

No, I'm the one who's at MTSU. *giggle* although I'm really surprised there's no one else here applying to that program - I know at least twice as many people apply as there openings.

I am also waiting to hear word from MTSU!! .... hopefully GOOD words :) lol!! Praying that I hear SOMETHING— ANYTHING in the mail over the next week. I've driven myself crazy for long enough.

Mdh.lpn - are you doing the RN-BSN program?

I'm not an RN, just an LPN. I applied for their LPN to BSN bridge. It allows me standing credit for 11 credit hours for being an LPN. Other than that, there are no real differences from the traditional track.

Oh - I still get so confused by the differences! So you would be taking classes with the traditional track students, then, vs the RN-BSN students?

:) It drives my husband crazy talking about it too! I'm all like: CNA, LPN, RN, BSN, MSN, FNP....... And he's all like: fryjurevhiurdgvhh. :)

No, I'll strictly be with the traditional track. I just will not have to do a couple of classes that they will.

Well, I'm in. It's strange, I feel sort of deflated. I know now the work gets really hard, and I'm already feeling sort of demotivated this semester. It may be because the month of October was *so* busy - had a few activities that were stealing my work time, but hopefully moving me towards scholarships in the future. Those are finished now, for the most part, so I can focus more on academics. It is a tentative acceptance, after all!

Congrats!!! I also had that feeling of "Oh crap, now the work starts, there goes my life!" But this is what we worked so hard for, enjoy your time until it starts! Then get ready to kick butt!

Congratulations times a million!!! That is SO wonderful!! I know you feel overwhelmed, but one day it will be ALL worth it :) As for me, I STILL have heard nothing! But, hoping that maybe I'll hear something today **fingers crossed**

When I turned in my app, the secretary told me that I might start hearing people talk about how they had gotten their acceptance and maybe I would have heard nothing. Don't worry about it, she said. Someone has to be first and someone has to be last - it doesn't mean anything as far as how well you did or how "in" you are. It's just how the letters go out. *hug*
