I applied for my endorsement license for CA. I am licensed in Florida. You should fine before the program start at UCLA. It's take about 2-3 month to received a endorsement license. But I read that some people get there license in weeks. Are you applied for endorsement or taking the NCLEX? Either way you should be ok.

Hey, so I applied for CA license Dec 27, 2016 and my submission date Jan 11, 2017. I received my license March 24, 2017. It was a long process don't waste time get the information in Asap. Trying to contact them can be a nightmare. Make sure you send all the information in at one time.

Hello, Just a FYI, CHLA is opening up there application for transition nurses on April 10th. If anyone is a transition nurse and wants to work with children. I applied on Dec 27th my submission was January 11, 2017 and I just received my license on march 24th, 2017. I applied for an endorsement license. Yes, calling them is a nightmare and on my days off I would call them around the clock with no luck. Until, 2weeks before being on hold for 1hr and 45min. California needs to do better. I know some people who applied for license before me and still haven't received theirs. Smh
