  1. We will hear on or before March 8th. I signed up last semestar but didnt get in. Majority of the applicants heard the day of deadline on acceptance or rejection. Your GPA is excellent, should get accepted. Mine is on the lower side, they declined me for spring.
  2. It should be in January that you guys start (part time), and in Fall, you will start clinicals.
  3. I got the refusal about half hour ago.
  4. You got an acceptance letter today?
  5. Florida. They sent it to me only because I was emailing them on my own. No.
  6. They send me an excel. It has a breakdown of all the costs. I would post it if I knew how. Total estimated about 21k, including the obvious stuff like tuition, books, and all the minor details like name badges, lab coats, etc.
  7. "Students beginning in the spring semester are considered part-time. Currently, we only offer full-time admission in the fall semester. However, our "early admit" spring students graduate at the same time as our full-time fall admits. The students who are admitted early in the spring take the majority of the didactic courses prior to beginning clinicals, while the fall full-time students work the didactic courses in alongside clinicals." There is no FT or PT on the application, it just depends on what time of year you are signing up. If you sign up by the Oct 15th deadline, then you start in following spring and will be PT. If you sign up by the Feb 15th deadline, you will start in Fall and you will be FT. They both graduate at the same time. So those that are getting acceptance letters are all in the same boat as us, there is no PT/FT difference at this time. I am still waiting for a response :/
  8. They emailed me a few weeks ago an estimated price for the whole program, and on there the typhoon software was $80, the certified backgrounds (I guess this is the castlebranch you're asking about) is $125, and the personal liability insurance says approximately $387.
  9. I am for FT program as well. Still have not yet heard.
  10. 11/10/18, haven't heard on acceptance or denial yet. Sounds like a denial by the look of things :/
  11. Hi Alice. No, I havent heard back yet. I think we are all in the same boat as of now. Last I heard fromthem was last week requesting my RN license copy and my resume. Either way, we will hear if we are accepted or denied. Good luck to you!
  12. Dear Student, Thank you for applying to Columbus State University's Family Nurse Practitioner Program for the Spring 2019 Cohort. If you are receiving this email, it means that your application packet has been sent to the Graduate Nursing Department for consideration. All decisions will be made by 15 November, and you will be notified by email if you have been accepted or not. If you do not have a personal email on your MyCSU account, please make sure to add one, otherwise all communications will be sent to your CSU email. ..and so, the waiting begins. Good luck to all!
  13. Yes Andrew, same exact on my end. I emailed them about it and they said that that is normal, to just wait now.
  14. Alright, good luck to you. Keep us posted on here, lets keep this thread going. We should hear somewhere as soon as October 15 and no later than November 15.
