Is English your first language or were you just typing fast? If it is not your 1st language maybe you need a tutor to help you with the textbook information, reading tests, etc. Talk to the school about that. Also, if you are looking for the "easiest" way to do things you need to consider another career. Nursing is HARD. Nursing school is HARD. So even if you get in you would fail at some point if you are not prepared. I am not trying to be mean, just realistic. I got a tutor to help me with two courses. One was free thru the school. The other I paid for, but it was still cheaper than taking the class another time. Good luck.

That's exactly the problem at our nursing school. People who shop for "easy A's" will encounter difficulty. Our science classes are butt kickin' hard but I know I will be well prepared for nursing school. All our science teacher emphasize on what is important to know in nursing school. The averages in our classes are lower than in other schools in the same College District. Few make A's in A&P and Micro at our school.

a friend of mine took the A&P class 3 times she tried to get better than a C and in the end had to except it...today she is a successful RN, keep trying, I know easier said than done, but you already have put so much time and effort into it..hang in there

I will be starting the nursing program in Jan. Like all CC we have to take A&P 1, A&P 2, And Micro for our nursing program. My Profs in these classes (3 diffrent Profs) have all said they make them harder to weed out the one who wont make it in nursing school. Thats not to say if you fail you will not make it in nursing. Its to say how bad do you want it and are you willing to work harder to get it. Keep trying it will mean more to you in the end. GOOD LUCK!!!!

    hi!!
it really doesn't help with all of the pressure of you.. but i know that just in my school they grade you on more than your gpa.. they give points for a's..b's..and..c's.! also we are graded on the hesi test.. your gpa does count but they look more at the points!! so keep it up!! you'll do fine!! just try to focus on what you have to do to make it!.

If you really want to be a nurse then retake the classes and make this your last time. Hire a tutor or polish your study habits. I'm going into the LPN program, because it is easier to get into, but they bridge to the RN program. That's the way I'm getting around it.

My MIL said you'll have no life practically in nursing school, but after you can reap the rewards when you are in your dream career. She's retired now and doesn't regret the hard work she put into nursing school so she could be one.

Do what it takes to get the better grades in class and get that degree! Calling yourself stupid and pathetic isn't going to help you. Sciences are hard for the majority of people, so take it easy on yourself.
