science pre-reqs to take together??

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello! after many months of lurking this website searching for advice I thought it was time for me to make an account, so I did! I'm starting my pre-nursing classes this fall and wanted to know what classes should be taken together and in what order? here's how my schedule is looking for the next two years any response would be helpful... thanks!

FALL: intro bio

WINTER: intro to chem

SPRING: into to org/bio chem + a&p 1

FALL: a&p 2 + gen psychology

WINTER: micro + lifespan psyc + nutrition 101

Your schedule seems fine

But if you don't work I think you can take intro to bio and chem together

Good luck

I'm taking bio with stats and eng 102... would you still recommend? btw I'm also a dual enrollment student

So your schedule is fine.

Currently, I am in my second year of taking Pre-Nursing classes. Here's my advice, everything is about balance. Take half hard classes and half easy classes every semester. Example: My first year I took biology, Human Growth and Developement, Human Nutrtion. Total of 11 credits. Science I've always struggled with. Not because its hard, but because its very time consuming. I've passed science classes with B's, yet I'm in college so now I have strive for a A's. When you're taking a class that is more time valuable mix it in with something you know you won't have to study for as hard. It helps with stress and helps balance your first year off. Also if you don't do as good as you thought your GPA won't go down dragstically. Here's what I'd do...

FALL: intro bio + gen psychology

WINTER: intro to chem + lifespan psyc

SPRING: into to org/bio chem + a&p 1

FALL: a&p 2 + nutrition 101

WINTER: micro

Yet this is all my opinion.
