I'm halfway through my prereqs and starting to add a few support classes. Please rank your support/prereqs by difficulty. I think this could be really useful for people. I'll start, but it's incomplete since I haven't taken A&P yet.

1-easiest 5 - hardest

Intermediate Algebra - 4

Chemistry - 5

Writing - 1

Intro. Biology - 3

I am hoping to see opinions for: Psychology, Child Dev, Nutrition (supports I need) :yeah:

OK here's my opinion. I just finished my associates degree and will be attending a BSN program in the spring of 09.

English Comp. 1&2 - - 1

Sociology -- 2

College Algebra -- 3

Gen. Psychology --2

Statistics -- 3

General Zoology -- 3

Human Physiology -- 4

Gen. Chemistry 1&2 -- 5

Microbiology -- 4

Human Anatomy -- 3

Nutrition -- 2

Developmental Psychology -- 2

The three hardest for me (mostly because I took them all in the same semester) was Physiology, Gen chem. 1, and Micro.

English I 1

English II 1

A&P I 3

Intro to Psych 1

Dev Psych 1

Nutrition 4 (there was way too much work for my class-- rediculous, material wasn't hard just too many assignments)

Child Development 3

Princ of Biology I 2

Princ of Biology II 4 (these bio courses were inteded for bio majors)

General Chem I 3 (intended for chem majors/pre-med/pre-pharm)

associated lab 5 (REDICULOUS)

Statistics 2

Intro to Socio 2

Intermediate Alg. 3

I have yet to take Micro, A&P II, Organic and Biochem, and College Algebra (my remaining courses). I got a B+ in Genetics so I'm sure Micro will be a sinch, as will the others.:D

I only have a few done:

English - 2

Nutrition - 1

Chemistry - 2.5

Biology - 4.5 (I strongly dislike Bio)

Speech - 1

I'm taking anatomy, sociology, and 2nd semester english/critical thinking next semester so we'll see how its goes.

other than that i still have physio, micro, stats and psych.

general college chemistry - 3

intermediate algebra - 4

anatomy - 5 (it was hardest because my teacher graded by class ranking i.e. smartest student got an A and set the grade standard for everyone else. meaning that some people for sure no matter what would fail the class.)

I will be finished with all of my required pre-reqs this semester. I am taking patho and pharm next semester but they aren't required.

I haven't found anything to be very hard. The classes that I have a 2 or 3 were mainly just more time consuming. For me as long as I show up and read my chapters the classes have been extremely easy.

I just graduated with 3 associates degrees from my cc and will be starting NS in January:

English- 1

Inter. Algebra- 4

Statistics- 5 (hated this class)

Speech- 2

Psych- 2

Nutrition- 1

Chemistry (both clasees)- 3

Anatomy - 4

Physio- 5

Micro- 3

Human Dev.- 3

That is exactly what my lab coordinator did for the rediculous lab I was talking about. ONLY one student got an A. Everyone was downscaled from there so I was making Bs and Cs, when I should've been making A's and B's. My A- in lecture should be a testament that I understood the material and knew what I was doing. Moreover, a lab should be used to reinforce the material. That lab was the worst grade ever, a B-. Does it make sense to get an A- in lecture and a B- in lab? Not to me. Not when you attend ever lab, know what you are doing and successfully complete an assignement. You know when you compare grades with other students who pretty much got an equal amount of information correct and there a differing scores that there is a problem.

you're freaking amazing, I thought my two associates degrees was good but THREE? we seriously need to have coffee. Besides I might be your classmate next spring! =x

ya I was a bit of an overachiever and took some extra classes just for fun..... Like I took an auto mechanics class so that I would know how to change my oil, tires, and spark plugs hehe. How exciting to think I might already know someone that could be my classmate for the next 2 years!!

LOL omg you sound like me, I would take that class if I didn't have a roommate who did all that already! Ive managed to take a lot music classes mostly, I have also dabbled in their Web design course for fun. I have been at ARC since 2001 so I was bound to accumulate enough units for two degrees. I graduate this month!

yup we are like twins! well sort of hehe. I also somehow managed to get all three of those degrees with honors because my gpa was always above 3.5. We are those crazy students that like school and achieving more than is required. Congratulations on your graduation!!
