This question will probably be better suited in your state forum. Online program availability will vary by state. Especially because you will pay out of state tuition for any advice given from a state other than yours.

I wish I knew! My school requires an on campus class. The only science class I've ever been able to take 100% online was chemistry, I did the lab at home.

I'd be surprised to find a legitimate microbio class wholly online. Let me know if you do.

My school in vt offers it online but I'm taking the hybrid where we meet 8 times in the semester for the labs. I'm taking a&pII online right now and the lab is online too through a program called physioex. It's really neat!

Georgia military college is alright. it's not too hard and all labs/exams are done at home.

I took microbiology at Inver Hills Community College in Inver Grove heights, MN. The instructor was working on setting up an online program, you can check it out, Id on't know if he's done that yet or not. However, you can't just "take it anytime" you'd still need to do it within the semester timeframe, would be my assumption

How do you do the lab at home? Doesn't make sense. This is one of those classes I would recommend you avoid taking online.

Lab at home? Must have been a shoddy chem class to have lab at home.....One of those "nursing" chem classes? Never seen a real General/Inorganic class online. The chemistry materials and equipment were way too expensive and some of the chemicals legit dangerous.

To the OP I would steer clear of any online science class period.

I wouldn't recommend taking micro online, its a lot of info. I'm taking it right now and so far doing good but I'm studying all the time/ I don't think I could do it online. Good luck!

Wow. for real? No, it was a legitimate college level chemistry class, principles of chemistry. We had to purchase a lab kit from the college, and write up the scientific papers after finishing each lab and turn in all of our results.

I just checked - it looks like they offer it as a hybrid course. 2.5 hours on campus once a week and the rest online.

That is how my latest science classes have been. The bio I am currently taking is online lecture and 2.75 hr lab once a week.
