Only you can determine whether or not nursing is right for you. Are you working as a CNA? Have you spent any time in NICU or other environments with infants?

I would strongly suggest you read through the various topics, threads on this website....it will help you get a feel for the good, the bad, and the ugly :)

We obviously can't advise you as to whether you should or shouldn't pursue nursing, but I do think once you read the many postings here you'll get an idea of what it's about.

There's a "specialties" forum, pre-nursing, many areas to get some insight.

Good luck to you!

The only person that can answer that is you. As with any job, you will find people who hate their job. This is not limited to nursing. You need to weigh the pros and cons and decide what you want to do. The best advice I can offer is to pick a career that you will really like doing. Something you have a passion for. Otherwise you will end up regretting your decision and be miserable for the rest of your life. Life is way too short not to enjoy your career.
