Has anyone test out of a public speaking class?

I have the option to test out of public speaking through courses like DSST or getcollegecredit.com. I personally have never done this before so have no clue how to prepare or how this is done. If you have done this can you give me a breakdown how this works? How much should I study for this?

Why do you need public speaking? If you do still need to test out, check out CLEP exams. However, never heard of such a test to test out of.

You have to test out of public speaking? Wow - I've never heard of that as a pre-req for nursing. We had communication, but not public speaking.
