Okay, I am sitting here just bawling. I had been so anxious over you getting your letter and feel such a sense of relief now that you are in. I can't imagine what it will feel like when (not if) I get mine.

Fun - yes I'll be at the ECC campus - closer to my home! Kind of scared about it with all that I have read on these boards! Will we all do our orientation together at ECC?

Did your family celebrate last night - take you out to dinner - plan a HUGE party - or let you sleep in this morning (since come Fall our sleeping days are over!)?

Dream....The kiddos spent the night with friends, hubby just got back from a 1200-mile trip & was tired. We were going to go out, but decided against it. What did you do?

I'm ready to go buy something now. :chuckle

We were headed out the door to eat when my daughter got the mail, so I guess that was our celebration dinner. :D

The letters came today!!!!!!

Come June 1st, it will have been fifteen years since I graduated from high school. I went straight into college in pursuit of my nursing degree, but never got to the point of applying.

15 years after I graduated from high school, I finally have an acceptance letter into the nursing program!

I will start at North Lake College in the Fall '06 program! :balloons: :balloons:

Please, no one give up!!!!!!

Wow!!! I went back several pages. I was gone all weekend, so I am just seeing all of this. You found out several days ago. I am sooo happy for you fun2care. You will do great. Dont be afraid.

Fun...I was shopping with my kids when my friend and fellow student called me on my cell to tell me of her acceptance. Since we have the same GPA and same pre-reqs (for the most part) I knew I had gotten in as well! I was buying a gift card at Barnes & Noble so that clerk probably thought I was absolutely nuts and will never want me as her nurse!!!!

My hubby and kids were excited, but at the same time it is hard for them to understand how BIG a deal this is. We all went out to dinner on Saturday night as a kind of celebration - works for me since I didn't have to cook or clean up. Besides, I had an A&P II test today plus I got my "unknown" in Micro so I had lots of studying to do over the Easter weekend.

Now it is back to reality - but my reality has changed:bugeyes: - can you say FEAR (and excitement too!) of what is ahead.

DreamBelieveSucceed, I completely understand!!! All I want to do right now is read/study nursing stuff. I can't wait for my government class to be over!

I just want to trust that it's all meant to be. I'm not sure if I will do extremely well on exams, or just make it, but i know I'm going to try my best.

We need to start thinking, "4 semesters....We can do it! It's ONLY 4 semesters!!!!" :lol2:
