Good bsn programs in ny/pa?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Im looking at nursing schools that i can transfer into in my junior yr in ny or pa. Currently taking undergrad pre requisites for nursing school such as stats chem psych socio etc. Any recommendations of good nursing schools to transfer into?

Already looking at: stony brook, nyu rory myers, pace lienhard school of nursing, upenn, lehman college, temple

-would prefer colleges either in or near nyc to be closer to fam, but im willing to look at other schools in or near philly & tuition that isn't too pricy/gives good scholarships and aid -

2ND QUESTION: Do you have to get your rn license/work in the state that you graduate nursing school from?

Thanks!

CUNY Hunter, LIU & College of New Rochelle. I heard SUNY Binghamton is good too.

I would advise you to not apply to Temple unless you want to start over. It's a 4-year program unfortunately.

I can't answer the second question, sorry.

Ok thank you, binghampton is a bit far but ill look at is as a backup

I doubt you can directly transfer to a nursing program. You can transfer to a university/college and then apply to that university/college nursing program.

No you can, most(not all) colleges with a nursing school let you transfer into their bsnnursing program as long as you have usually around 50-60 credits and pre requites done like stats chem anatomy microbio etc with a C or higher. Search it up
