I plan on becoming an RN, and while in high school I'd like to get a head start on everything. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should get a head start on? Any advice is very appreciated! Thank You!

If I were you, I would start by taking medical classes and all sciences.

Take all the AP classes in the sciences (AP chem, AP biology) just so you can get yourself out of those classes when you go to college. I have to take chemistry I and II plus biology. I kind of wish I took AP biology in high school so I wouldn't have to deal with it now.

I wouldn't necessarily say that you need to take AP classes. I think it mostly depends on the school you want to go to. The school I go to doesn't require gen bio or gen chem for nursing majors, so if I had taken AP bio/chem, it would have done nothing in terms of what I would/wouldn't have to take right now.

But make sure you get chem and bio, and if you can get in a college level psych class and soc class, and AP stats, that would be great!

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, the school I want to I don't need any of that. However, I do need psych and soc class. So, to get a head start i'm going to try and do the psych online this summer, and thats one class knocked out.

Thanks again for your reply!
