My family thinks that I'm a nerd because I want to start studying for A&P 2 and chemistry next semester. Is it wrong to want to start early?

I just bought my Chem 1 and Micro books from Amazon today :) I'm going to get started on it early this time like I did last spring. Last spring I read the entire Anatomy book and it REALLY helped. I ended up being the 2nd in my Anatomy class of 80ish students! It REALLY works to get started early and read, read, read! I didn't do that over the summer for Phys and I ended up with an A but nowhere near the top. It works, do it!!!!

I am a nerd and proud of it! LOL Didn't you know that "nerd" is the new "cool"? :) That's what I like to tell myself anyway!!

I am also studying for next semester too! I have ordered a math review book to help prep me for college algebra in the spring! You are not alone!

Make time for your girlfriend/boyfriend. Go have some adventures and "alone time" with them. Once your in the program, your not gonna see them except for summer and Christmas. RN school is an annoying constant grind, you will jump from one test to another and thats after putting in 30 hours of clinical and class time.

no shame in that! I'm reading my patho book for next semester. it just decreases the workload out on you in the beginning :)
