Chamberlain College Of Nursing- FNP program

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

I am researching online MSN programs and have narrowed it down to 2-3 and I was wandering if anyone has gone through the Chamberlain College online program for FNP. If so any advice would be helpful. Did you like the program? If not Why? Would you recommend an online program for a MSN?

I am currently taking Advanced Research Methods.

How is it going with your class?

Hello...

Are you still enrolled in Chamberlain's online FNP program? If so, what are your thoughts? I'm leary of their program- just because of what others post. If still enrolled, Is it manageable? I work FT but realize I'll have to cut back once clinicals begin. Regarding the course work, is a paper or presentation due every week? I completed my BSN online so am familiar with that but not a huge fan of the stress related to a major something being due very week. Any feedback you have I would most certainly appreciate.

I'm considering applying to Chamberlain. How is going for you so far? Did you double up on classes? If so, How difficult is it? I work FT M-F, am a single mom to a 11 year old. How "doable" in my situation? Would so appreciate any feedback! :-)

Are you still enrolled ? I just got accepted and was wondering if you still would recommend the program ?

I am a current FNP student at Chamberlain. The program is rigid, tough, depending on the instructor and prereqs are extremely paper heavy, but I love it! Please feel free to PM me with any questions!

I started in the May term so I am still in the core courses but find them manageable while working full time. Something is expected every week but sometimes it may be just two discussions and maybe a paper every other week on top of the discussions. I was leery at first myself but find that I actually like attending the MSN-FNP program there and I'm excited to get to the more intensive courses.

Is there a lot of group work required for Chamberlain? With regards to the papers, what is the average range of page requirements? My BSN was obtained online so I'm very familiar with paper writing but certainly not looking forward to the process once again.

No group work... And papers have typically been 5-7 pages but I recently did one in nursing informatics that had a 3 page requirement.

Hi all, am currently in my 2nd class at chamberlain in FNP track. I am only taking one class at a time, due to busy family life and working full time. I know once clinical start i will have to cut back on work but that not until late next year. I like the program so far. I will taking [COLOR=#333333]Nursing Informatics starting Oct 27. Have anyone taken that class? how was it? any one in the DFW area?

So am I understanding correctly that a paper is not necessarliy die every week? Are there required visits to the campus? Which I won't mind.
