Hello everyone! I am just starting the process for MVU online FNP. Praying for acceptance for Fall 2013. i am feeling apprehensive now after reading some of the posts about the inconsistencies and disorganization of the online program. I'm also concerned about the price quote of 33K for the total program and then seeing upwards of 43K. Does anyone have any solid information on some of my concerns?

Thank you for the uplifting post. I've read some negative posts about the program. I have not yet been accepted but am hoping for Fall 2013. Are the instructors supportive and helpful? Do they have extremely high expectations? I want a solid education but can do without the nit-picky stuff.

I had completed the admission process and 2 weeks later the advisor told me that they couldn't accept TN residents at this time. I was very upset because this was a question that I kept asking in the beginning. The advisor told me that TN had some requirements that the school hasn't met yet. So if you plan on applying find out if they're fully accredited in your state.

I am a current student; pray to graduate Dec 2014.
There are no campus visits. I have yet to learn of conferences for any skills. I have asked quite often when the skills component will be obtained, i.e., advanced physical assessments and so on, but I have been informed that skills will be learned from clinical.

This information is a little off topic, but I am in Maryville's BSN program, and it is very unorganized! Everybody tells you something different. It is very frustrating, because it is so expensive! You wou,d think the program woukd be seamless by now! It's not a new program, so I can only imagine how they would be for a brand new program. Kind of scary....
