Pittsburgh Nurses-chow call

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

There are alot here. I have already had the pleasure of meeting Oramar. Zee, Kaycee, Colleen, and I apologize to the rest----it's time we get together for dinner. I suggest somewhere in the strip, in February. Something to look forward to, yanno. What sayeth all?

Station Square sounds great to me. I like that better than the strip district. At least I know how to get there and back! There's that cheese cellar place, the Gandy Dancer and Hard Rock Cafe. How about Hard Rock? It's not cheap and it's not quiet but it's a pretty cool place.

Zee, the strip is easy to get to! I would prefer somewhere where we can get reservations and hear each other talk. Most places down Station Square do not take reservations, unless we go to the Grand Concourse, now that I wouldn't mind!

Thanks for all your responses,

Hey guys, would love to meet up with yinz if you don't mind a student around. I have a couple things going on in Feb. but depending on which day it is I can probably make it.

I would like station square or strip. I have to say that Grand Concourse would be cool, it would be expensive but since we are only paying for ourselves it would be OK. Anybody interested in the Waterfront?

Where is that park I asked about? My curiosity is killing me. Haven't any of you been there?

Hey all,

The Grand Concourse has a wonderful Sunday brunch, would anyone be interested in that?

that sounds good to me badbird

sounds good to me too! I haven't been to the Grand Concourse in years.

Carrie: What a nice idea! I don't post here often, but I've always noticed how many Pittsburgh area folks are here. Any place sounds good to me when I don't have to cook! Anyone think about Mt. Washington?

Passing thru: Is the park you are thinking of West Park? It is close to the Community College of Allegheny County and is right up from the no-longer-there Three Rivers Stadium. The Aviary is in that park, lots of big old trees, old beautiful houses all around. Now, I am not positive that it is still called West Park; we called it that when I was growing up but that is awhile ago. :) I know that general area is called Allegheny West now.

MMM everyone, just have a minute before pilates, and hospice, geesh! Sunday brunch sounds terrific. Let's post dates we cannot make it, as I have on call, etc, then we will pick from avail dates. Colleen, my bfing days are long past, so don't fret that issue .

In February, if we are planning on a Sunday, I'm OFF on two Sundays: Feb 9 and Feb 23---but will probably be away on Feb 23 for my anniversary (at least I HOPE I am!!). February is kind-of a sucky month. My weekends are pretty booked.

At the moment every Sunday in Feb is OK for me.
