Sounds like fun, if it isn't the weekend I will be in Atlantic City I would love to meet everyone.

I just thought I'd say hi to everyone. I'm a nursing student at Pitt and i'm takin a nice break from my clinical prepping. Where do you all work?

Jennifer

Welcome minwax. I am at a hospice in the east suburbs. How is school going? You are welcome to join us! Are you from Pa?

What weekend works best for younz all?

...and another break...school is going well...i'm a second semester sophomore and getting ready to start passing meds. Originally i'm from a tiny town south of erie. Pittsburgh has been a nice change.

Would love to get together. Bad Bird and I used to work together and I run into her from time to time. I think she'd show up too.

Haven't been to the strip in a loooong time; would need directions to wherever we go, Cargal! I mean, I know how to get to the strip but names of places are lost on me.

I'm thinking Rolands. ONe year the outdoor balcony was filled with revelers, it was Jan 3rd and the temp was in the 70's. Food is good, and easy to find.

Any other suggestions are welcome. Oramar, whadya think? How about Poli's, I have never been there though.

If it just didn't take 6 hrs to drive to Pittsburgh, you could count me in!

Will need to meet midstate some day....until hubby hits the lottery.

Bump for Colleen and more! I'm getting hungry!

Isn't Poli's in Squirrel Hill? I was there once but that was about.....17 years ago, I think. Nice place, good seafood.

Kaycee, a really nice site. I forgot to sign guestbook, will do it later. I was looking at your panorama of the Golden Triangle. What are all those white buildings? Apartments or office buildings? Can you still see the river (s) from the fountain area? I asked a Pittsburgher that question a while back and he said, "I don't know, haven't been down there in years !" From the panoramic I can't, but I certainly hope they haven't built up so much that you can't see the river. What a crime that would be.

Cinncinnati has the most beautiful riverfront of any city I have ever seen. It goes on for miles. No tall buildings. The city slopes toward the river and the last 1/3 of a mile is park land to the river.

In Pittsburgh, the last time I was there, we were at a small park up the hill, from 3 rivers stadium. There was a college up there and a park with a wrought iron deer and some other stuff. Do you Pittsburgh nurses know where I am talking about? Pittsburgh is a beautiful city too.

passing thru,

That was not my site. Someone sent it to me so I just posted it. Glad you liked it though. You can see the river from the point if that's the fountain you're talking about. They haven't built anything around there. A great new view is to see the river and town from PNC park the new baseball park. That panoramic view looks double sided and a little distorted. Hard to tell exactly what that all is. They have built alot of stuff down by the rivers. Restaurants, movie theaters and such. Pittsburgh really is a cool city.

Hey does anyone want to meet at Station Square. There are some cool places to eat there??
