Hello all!

I am so glad I was directed to this discussion forum. I believe it is a great place to share and learn. I am extremely interested in Jefferson's FACT program. I plan to apply for May 2012. I just wanted to reach out to anyone with similar interest and your thoughts on the process. I would like to know who else plans to apply for May 2012 and if your pre-req's have been completed.

Just to share a little about myself, I am completing my BS in Public Health at an online University (3 weeks left!) and have all the pre-req's completed. I am just excited about this next journey.

I also love how Jefferson FACT students automatically are accepted into the MSN program. My goal is to become a Women's Health NP, and Jefferson seems to be the way to go.

I would also love to hear from current students as well.

I think it was on August 10th that I went. It was very informative. I was still under the impression of sending in my paper app to them and had everything ready for that, but NursingCas is fine, too.

Just checked my app on NursingCAS and they've calculated my GPA. it took them less than 2 weeks. they received my last transcript 10/13 and GPA calc was posted today.

I also spoke with someone from TJU last week and she said that supp apps should be out in about 3 weeks so i'm guessing we'll hear from them 1st or 2nd week of Nov.

Wow, another three weeks? This is killing me! Previous years seem like it was so much simpler. Well guys let's keep each other posted on our own processes. I am DYING to get in!

Hi guys,

I applied for the Prelicensure BSN and I had my GPA calculated, and I called and they told me that they haven't started sending the supplemental applications yet. Mark said in few weeks. Which it seems it would be sometime in November.

Hey everyone,

Anyone know anything regarding the May admissions into the FACT program if you are still taking pre-requisites this Spring? I heard some people have been accepted even with classes being taken in the Spring, but has anyone heard about this? Should I even hold my breath and hope to possibly get in? I am going crazy!

Hi,

I asked Nikki about the pre-reqs, earlier in the Spring, and she said that you needed to have completed at least 3/4 of the science classes to be considered for admission and of course have finished by May. The more you have the better.

Will keep the finger's crossed for all of us, so we get in and get started in May. Have a good week everybody,

Not to get ahead of ourselves, but does the 2012 FACT program start in the Spring or Pre-Fall?

I think you will first get contacted for an interview and then they'll let you know if you are accepted or not.

I got mine supplemental application too(Prelicensure BSN). Now we just have to wait. I hope not too long. :)

I also got my supplemental app! Now another waiting game. Im hoping the interviews are this month. I dont know if I can wait until Decmeber without going insane! GL everyone.
