I am so glad I was directed to this discussion forum. I believe it is a great place to share and learn. I am extremely interested in Jefferson's FACT program. I plan to apply for May 2012. I just wanted to reach out to anyone with similar interest and your thoughts on the process. I would like to know who else plans to apply for May 2012 and if your pre-req's have been completed.
Just to share a little about myself, I am completing my BS in Public Health at an online University (3 weeks left!) and have all the pre-req's completed. I am just excited about this next journey.
I also love how Jefferson FACT students automatically are accepted into the MSN program. My goal is to become a Women's Health NP, and Jefferson seems to be the way to go.
I would also love to hear from current students as well.
Not sure, But I would guess within the next week or two. They have to have time to notify, interview, make a decision and inform us. as of now Jan 1st is about 7 weeks away. Ugh I dont know, I just know that I am Dying! I dreamt about it last night, I was accepted. I will take that as a sign lol.
Whoops!! I completely blocked out "after" Ha! Im hoping its a 1st week of Jan kind of "after" and not Feb! Oh well, we will know soon. I wonder how many apps they recieved for the 1st review period.
judging from the comments on the Pre-Licensure thread, someone got an email invitation for an interview today. my guess is that they've probably started looking at the apps. Hopefully we'll be hearing something in the near weeks for FACTS interview scheduling
I called the Jefferson admissions office last week and they said that they would be sending out invitations to interview starting last Monday (11/7) and would continue to do so until the end of December. Unfortunately for us, this is a very vague time frame!
