Hello all!
I am so glad I was directed to this discussion forum. I believe it is a great place to share and learn. I am extremely interested in Jefferson's FACT program. I plan to apply for May 2012. I just wanted to reach out to anyone with similar interest and your thoughts on the process. I would like to know who else plans to apply for May 2012 and if your pre-req's have been completed.
Just to share a little about myself, I am completing my BS in Public Health at an online University (3 weeks left!) and have all the pre-req's completed. I am just excited about this next journey.
I also love how Jefferson FACT students automatically are accepted into the MSN program. My goal is to become a Women's Health NP, and Jefferson seems to be the way to go.
I would also love to hear from current students as well.
I just received an email/PDF saying that my application is complete and will be reviewed in the 1st round of applications (this is determined by the submission date I believe).
According to this email, Admissions decisions will be sent out no later than Jan 1, 2012. This may not be the case for people in round 2, but for round 1 this is the official news!!

I agree. I'm definitely nervous! My advice would be to use your waiting time to find out as much as you can about Penn and the specific nursing program that you have applied in to. Figure out why Penn and their program is the best fit for you and why. Each nursing program is different and they want to know why you think that their school is going to make you the best nurse that you can be. The more informed you are, the better your questions will be and the better you will appear to them once you interview!
Good luck!
