I haven't seen a thread for the Health Science Center in San Antonio, so I decided to create one since I am curious as to when we will find out if we are accepted or not. I am very nervous! I really want to go to this school but I know a couple of people that didn't get accepted from previous terms that had a better GPA or a better TEAS V score than I do. I am praying!!!

I think mine were a little less than 250.Mayyybe around the 200 mark. When I started getting close to the end of the box, I wanted to make sure I finished what I wanted to say and then stopped.

I also had a mini heart attack because when I opened the document from my phone, it was blank. I thought I sent in a blank application. Haha whew, that was a split second panic.

You guys are lucky I need to get that CPR certificate and a couple vaccines plus TB skin test :T

I'm worried that I might get a false positive result because I've had BCG vaccine though, so I'll do some research see what I can do..

On my residency question I printed out and scan only the last page then I used a software call "IceCream PDF split and merge" to cut off the original last page then combined the rest of the original pages with my scan page

I pretty much need to get everything, too. Hope I can gwt it all done in time! Well I hope I get in first!

BearHuskymeow, I am going to purchase the online course for the CPR. It costs 25$ :) I emailed the univ, and they told me they are ok with either classroom or online

That's awesome! Thank you for sharing this information with me! I was looking into taking an online course too but I did not know if they would accept that, but you read my mind and answered my question! Would you mind sending me about the website you're going to purchase the course?

Hi everyone! This may be a weird question to ask but for anyone who applied to multiple schools for spring 2015- I noticed that they are going to be giving out acceptances like a month earlier than the other schools I applied to and since San Antonio isn't my first choice (I'm from the Dallas area and would like to save money by living at home) I am unsure of what to do if I get accepted to San Antonio but haven't heard back from other schools yet. Just wanted to hear y'all opinion about what to do.

My essay was totally longer than 250 I don't know whether or not it was too long :/

I think just like you, I am waiting on TWU Dallas as well. You can always reserve your spot with whatever school you get accepted to first, and then take a hit (because you won't get the deposit back). I've already been accepted to one school, but there's no way I can afford to lose a total of $700 on deposits to hold spots if TWU ends up accepting me, so I had to drop out of applying for UTHSCSA. :(

BearHuskymeow, just google american heart association :) we need the BLS healthcare provider, and it gives you the online option

Do y'all know how many people get turned down when they summit their supplemental app??

Yes, I called today and the lady told me that out of over 350 applicants, only 203 were sent supplemental apps and of the 203 UTHSCSA SON can only admit 150 applicants….so 53 will get turned down. MADE ME SO NERVOUS I SHOULD HAVE NEVER CALLED
