Well that doesn't seem fair at all! I'm also just over here losing my mind with every email that hits my phone it would be SO nice to know exactly which day we all will be getting the news

And, are most of y’all going to be getting CPR certified before you know if you’re accepted or not? I want to wait but I’m not sure how long it takes to actually get your certification? Is there a reason most people are already signing up to get certified before we find out….maybe like a deadline I’m not aware of?

Someone should call them this week and ask them if it will be earlier! I would call them but I’m totally afraid they’re going to start recognizing my voice haha…. I’ve had so many questions!

I hope youre right! The lady at the front desk also said 1-2 weeks after all apps are due we should start hearing back…. and thats a lot sooner than the 26th…so hopefully they wont keep us waiting until the last minute but I’ve read other forums on here from past semesters and it seems like they always wait until the last day

Nice score on the TEAs! I scored an 81, and it said I was in the 90th percentile…but I don’t think thats enough to ensure my acceptance as I had only one volunteer experience and the only job I’ve had is working as a babysitter…. I just hope they dont take my lack of experience in the field as negative.

I bet its not as scary as we think…. a lot of people applied to multiple schools IM SURE and Im sure some people wont get the app in on time or maybe changed their mind….etc…. or I can only hope

I’m sorry to be the one to bring that news but I always think its better to know than to not know! And I really don’t understand how they’ll be able to turn down 53 people based off of the supp app thats only worth 1% of the application? I’m assuming our TEAs score and GPAs passed the mark, or does anyone know if our scores can still come into play when deciding acceptance?

Yes, I called today and the lady told me that out of over 350 applicants, only 203 were sent supplemental apps and of the 203 UTHSCSA SON can only admit 150 applicants….so 53 will get turned down. MADE ME SO NERVOUS I SHOULD HAVE NEVER CALLED

Neptune! Thank you so much for responding! You totally made me feel better! I've been freaking out because H isn't that far into the alphabet but knowing you only got yours yesterday has relieved some of my stress! Thank you again!

Hello all! I read through this entire thread and decided to make an account! I also haven't received a second email and my last name begins with H. If the two people who have received second emails wouldn't mind sharing the first letter of their last name that would be awesome…just to let us others who are waiting know where they are in the process!!
