Hello Guys!! I recently applied to the accelerated BSN at UT Tyler and do not get accepted so I am going to try for the tradition BSN fall 2017. Is anybody in the same boat or just applying to the tradition BSN?

Hi I am planning on applying for fall 2017 traditional BSN program.

I'm applying too! Good luck everyone :)

Has anyone taken the TEAS yet ? I want to take it in December

Yes I took it a year ago. I got an 89%

Congrats! That's a great score

Hi I just wanted to share an excellent resource with anyone who wants to prepare for nursing school, NRSNG | Helping Nursing Students Succeed. Period.

It has tons of free stuff and amazing courses for purchase. I highly recommend them to everyone...I'm not paid to say this :) I dropped out of TWU because I was completely overwhelmed and I'm now taking this year to study as much as I can to prepare myself for next time. I bought the Med-Master (pharm course) and the Med-Surg courses. I can't tell you how awesome they are! Nursing school will break you if you don't go in with a good foundation first! I found out the hard way.

I plan to apply for the traditional BSN as well. Scored a 74.7% overall on ATI TEAS with a 70.2% on reading, 87.5% on math, 76.6% on science, and 62.5% on english and language usage. Feel like my scores will be considered average but hopefully I will be a good enough applicant for there program. Also have a 3.5 GPA overall and a 3.67 GPA for my Nursing Pre-reqs with just microbiology left to take.

You're scores seem pretty good! I'm taking my TEAS on the 28th of this month. Does anyone know if nursing concepts and pathophysiology have to be completed before you apply?

Thanks. They have to be completed in the semester prior to enrollment into there nursing school.
