Stony Brook U Nursing Basic BSN Fall 2014 Applicants!

Hey everyone! I'm in the middle of my prerequisites for the nursing program at Stony to apply for admission next fall! Just wanted to reach out and say hey to anyone else in the same shoes! Where else are you all applying?

SBU is obviously my first choice, but I'm also applying to NYU, Adelphi, Molloy, I might apply to York and Lehman, and I might apply to LIU Brooklyn. I would apply to Hunter, but I don't want to transfer for the spring only to be waitlisted (or rejected!) for one of their 100 seats.

Congrats on those accepted! I'm hoping to be given a chance this is my second time applying and even tho my GPA isn't great I tried to define myself with volunteer ems experience .. Was never even given an interview though so I suppose there is no chance for me ..

I do have a question though...Are all 80 accepted have to take 2-3 credits Social Psychology with a grade of C or better, by 8/22/14?

I dont know but i thought that was a pre-req so you should already have it. Also, do you know if any classes are online?

I have the two psychology classes that were required as pre-req but I am thinking this is something new that is part of their team based learning they are starting this year.

I don't think they'll be doing rejection letters first, those are going to be last.

I got mine at like 5:02pm....Does yours say the below on it?

This offer is conditional pending successful completion and official documentation of the following:Official transcripts all schools attended, 2-3 credits Social Psychology with a grade of C or better, by 8/22/14
