You just couldn't wait lol jk I hope we get a spot. If you don't mind, can you email me and tell me what stats you submitted? I just want to compare and see if I have a good chance lol

I currently attend CSULA and hope to get into the BSN program there (hoping to hear back in the next couple days or so) but RIO is definitely my first choice in ADN.

Cum GPA: 3.95

Anatomy and Physio 1: A-

Anatomy and Phisio 2: A

Microbiology Lab :A

Microbiology Lecture: A-

Chem: A

(Not sure how they calculate my science pre-reqs: if they count the (+/-) it would be 3.9 if not it would be 4.0 in science GPA)

Need to work, 300+ volunteer experience, Low income.

TEAS 78% (1st try)

Good luck guys!

Good luck to you too!

Do you mind sharing your stats with the forum? (even though its just a few of us at the moment?)

Hey guys! I just dropped off my application this morning!

My stats:

- AA-T degree (so all GE's are done)

- 4.0 science GPA

- estimated 3.2 cumulative GPA (avg. from 3 colleges)

- 1000+ hrs of work as an EMT (still active EMT)

- 74.7 TEAS (1st attempt)

- 5 Life Experiences

I know they use this info. for their multicriteria selection, but I'm not too sure how they score everything or how much weight each category holds.

From past forums, it seems like they put a lot of weight of your science GPA, healthcare experience, degrees, and maybe even foreign language/s..?

Did any of you apply to other programs as well?

Best of luck to everyone! :)

My stats are:

- Sciences GPA: 3.33

- AA degree in Natural Sciences

- Teas: 72.7%

- My cumulative GPA: 3.1 (I don't think they count this)

- 3 life experiences

- Spanish foreign language

- No work or volunteer hours

I also applied to LBCC and Cerritos College.

jsanchez6 I think I saw you on the Cerritos College forum. I applied there too.

Not a fan of their 100% lottery system, I don't have the best luck. (I never win scratchers or raffles lol)

I applied since I currently go there, and it was a fairly easy process.

Good luck!
