Same. 5E was my second choice, but I haven’t seen anyone discuss interviewing or hearing back from them.

Congrats to everyone who’s gotten offers so far!? Still haven’t heard back from PICU? but it seems like HR sent the (email) offers at midnight, then called people in the morning today.? Does anyone know if they’re sending out all the offers in one day? & has anyone heard from 5 East by any chance? Just curious

I had 3 years of EMT experience (ran a lot of peds & NICU calls) I did my MSN capstone fieldwork at an elementary school; my project was a school-based mental health program for children I also have my ACLS & PALS certs Hope this helps!?

@hamsterlover Don’t know if this is relevant, but during my interview (with PICU), they specifically asked me if I’m used to working night shifts. I’m guessing it’s different for every unit

Thank you for the positivity??? During mine, they asked 6 questions (2 questions per interviewer). I remember exactly what they asked me? & I also asked them 2 questions! Wishing you the best as well!☺️

Mine was 12 minutes!!? I got discouraged after!? Especially seeing other peoples’ ^^ interviews lasted up to 40 min! Maybe the lengths vary across units.

I asked at the end of my interview and the nurse told me that they’ll start letting people know around May 3

Did anyone interview with the PICU? If so, how long did your interview last??

I spoke to a couple people who’ve been through CHLA’s interview process and they say it depends on the unit you’re interviewing with. Some of the general questions that one person told me were: • A lot of “tell us about a time when…” questions. • Why you think your personality/who you are as a person is best fit to be a nurse on that specific unit. • What would be the most challenging part of working on that unit and how you’d overcome those challenges? • How did COVID impact nursing school for you and how did you overcome those challenges? That’s all I got! Hope it helps!?

For PICU, it’s a 30-min virtual interview; not sure what it is for other units though
