Roll call, who's applying to NU San Diego Cohort 54?

I started my journey 6 months ago. Completing Microbiology this month, then TEAS prep and proctored essay practice. GPA will likely between 3.4-3.7 so going to work hard for a strong TEAS result. Would love to start to get to know some of our fellow future nurses.

I am! Very nervous though. My GPA is a 3.25 :( Which means I need an 88 or better on my TEAS and at least a 4 on my essay.

I am! Taking my last class this month- ILR and studying for the TEAS. Planning to take it in a few weeks for the first time. I don't want to wait until November. I hope to just take it once! My GPA is 3.84. Good luck studying🤓

Good luck! Both GPAs are in range. If either of y'all want to study group, National Spectrum Library is going to be my home for ~3 weeks of TEAS studying as soon as I'm done with micro 9/30.

I'll be taking the TEAS for the first time this Friday.....I'm going to take advantage of National allowing us to take it multiple times.

Hi all! I have also just applied to Cohort 54!! Pretty discouraged at the moment because I recently was denied for Cohort 53 but I won't give up. I will also be taking advantage of NU's policy (or lack thereof) allowing us to take the TEAS multiple times :) Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone!

I am relocating to San Diego from MN in January, I wish everyone luck with their applications!!

I'm targeting an 88 on the TEAS, taking it 10/19. If anyone would like to join for studying, National's Spectrum Campus Library is central and comfortable. I'll be there for 3-4 hour chunks for the next few weeks.

I am an alternate for Cohort 53 but if there are no spots available before they begin, I will be joining Cohort 54. Anyone else an alternate? Good luck to all new applicants!

I applied to Cohort 54 also. I took my TEAS last week at State and only got an 81.3 so I will take my TEAS with NU and give them the better of the two. Thankfully I have a 3.91 GPA. I am also military and at the Vets2BSN open house they announced they would be giving 1 point for those who are prior military MEDIC. Has anyone received their test date? Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone!

My name is Ashley and I was denied to cohort 53. I've applied to this cohort and was wondering if anyone knows how many applicants there is? Also, is the extra point you are receiving for the people who already hold a bachelor degree?

The extra point is if you have prior military medic experience.
