Roll call, who's applying to NU San Diego Cohort 54?

I started my journey 6 months ago. Completing Microbiology this month, then TEAS prep and proctored essay practice. GPA will likely between 3.4-3.7 so going to work hard for a strong TEAS result. Would love to start to get to know some of our fellow future nurses.

Hi Everyone, Im applying for Cohort 55 and taking my TEAS and essay this week. For those of you who have taken the essay, can you elaborate a little on why Elizabeth said it needs to be APA format? If it is a personal essay that we aren't doing research and citing sources for, what aspects of APA will apply?

I just saw today that someone posted information of what is being looked for in the essay portion, its on the group for cohort 55.

Hey, I saw this question and thought I would reply as I found this forum helpful when I was stressing on getting into the program. I am in cohort 54. I got 4.5/5 on my essay. I heard nothing about APA formatting for the written essay. I focused on an outline that applied to nursing and one I could spin to most questions. Have a few thesis statements memorized and ready to use. I started off my intro with a story. A good attention grabber is always a good way to start. Best of luck!
