  3. Woohoo!!! I'm going to start a Facebook group NHTI RN Class of 2020 so we can help each other along the way :)
  4. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!! You shouldn't have a problem though, since you're a paramedic :)
  5. Keep trying! Don't give up! :)
  6. Just got my acceptance letter! Woohoo!
  7. I'm still waiting also í ½í¸©
  8. Got an email back and said mid to late March!
  9. I spoke with admissions on Friday and she said we should know late April, maybe a little bit sooner. :)
  10. Anyone apply to NHTI's fall 2018 cohort? :) Best of luck to all!!!
  11. No, I wish I had or else I would be in. I was just saying I was going for as many points as possible and I tried :) I even did what you suggested and i still scored pretty low. I think my prompt threw me off a little, it wasn't the typical "why do you want to be a nurse" etc. Maybe I'll do better on the next one because I wont be stressing about my TEAS after, and I'll know what to expect.
  12. Just for a heads up all, the cut off's were: Alternate 84.08 Accepted 85.09 My total was 83.8, I'll increase that for the next cohort. This cohort was also really competitive. Congrats to all who got in, good luck in school!
  13. Mr_Edwino I knew and know what I needed for my essay. I didnt have either of those prompts nor was it anything about wanting to be a nurse, and I used my experience as a flight medic and ER tech too but thanks. Kellyrae thanks! Hopefully we both get into 55!! :)
  14. I didn't get in either, airwicka89. I looked back and you posted your scores (TEAS 84.7 and 3.7 GPA).. I had similar scores (TEAS 82 and GPA 3.9). Let me know what she tells you. This must have been a pretty competitive cohort because nursing students that come into my ER for their clinicals had much lower scores and GPA than us. Good luck. I'll be going for 55, also.
  15. The extra point is if you have prior military medic experience.
