Nursing Students School Programs

I have finally gotten everything situated with my classes and GPA to FINALLYYYY apply! I am sending in my application this week, just finished up my chem class with a B thank god. I have a 3.0 GPA for my prerequisites and about 60 to 63 points. What do you think my chances are for getting in? When I talked to my advisor she said if I got a B in chem then I should have no problem but my worrying self doesn't want to wait that long to see. And how long did it take for a response. Application deadline is August 15th. Any helpful advise would be appreciated!!

I am too I'm ready for November!

I really hope to know something before November! *fingers crossed*

I got an email for fingerprints did yall call or do the online thing? I am going to this weekend to set mine up. friends before me in the program said they knew in october so hopefully we do too!!!

I just went by the online instructions it seemed easier because when you type in your zip code it gives you LOTS of options & times. October isn't too far away but I check my email everyday for any further instructions! I'm so excited!!

I emailed Mrs. Rudy a couple days ago and she said we should know either middle October or early November.

Also, is anyone applying to this nursing program that isnt from Midwestern? I just want to know how the financial aid would work if you were to enter in the spring?

Yes, I'm pretty sure everyone got an email about the background check & fingerprinting, it was addressed to applicants.

& yes, I'm currently a student at UTA & TCC, I've never attended MSU or been to Wichita Falls. But I called financial aid & they said that we will be awarded separately in like October or November for Spring only

I go to TCC and UTA too! So even if I am already receiving financial aide for the fall from UTA? So does that mean I have to apply for financial aide for MSU as well?

You have to send them your fafsa application & they will email you if you need to provide any other information to my understanding.

Yeah, once you get your acceptance, go to UTA's FAO and let them know you need your awards moved to MSU. As long as you added MSU to your FAFSA school list, there shouldn't be a problem! MSU's FAO should email you if they need anything extra or anything!

Yeah, fingerprints are nothing special for MSU's program. You know you're safe when they start telling you what vaccinations you're required to submit.

Midwestern lets all potential applicants do their fingerprints. To be safe with midwestern is when u get an acceptance letter. Am in my first semester, this was my second time of applying, when I applied first, I was asked to get my fingerprint and I was so happy I thought I was in, when acceptances went out I was w aitlisted n never got called. The cut off was 63 points n I had 61 points. I applied again for the fall n I got in. Cut off for the fall was 66 points and I had 68 points. But I know people with points lower than 66 got called off the waiting list. Midwestern and fingerprints, it's just a formality. Just do your fingerprints and wait I know you will all get in.
