I have finally gotten everything situated with my classes and GPA to FINALLYYYY apply! I am sending in my application this week, just finished up my chem class with a B thank god. I have a 3.0 GPA for my prerequisites and about 60 to 63 points. What do you think my chances are for getting in? When I talked to my advisor she said if I got a B in chem then I should have no problem but my worrying self doesn't want to wait that long to see. And how long did it take for a response. Application deadline is August 15th. Any helpful advise would be appreciated!!
I still have to take chemistry next semester I am currently taking microbiology and Patho I am so nervous about these last three classes I was going to apply to their accelerated program but I think I'm just gonna wait and do the long one. To ensure I passed everything and I'll fill out of the program. The accelerated program seems like it would be too much to take in 4 semesters
I called and she told me I will have 62 points after this semester assuming I get a B in microbiology and patho I need to Clep intro to sociology and that will bring it to 66 but I don't have any time to study for the Clep test ugh I need to be able to apply to the accelerated program plus I still have to take the hesi and honestly ladies my math is horrible how bad is the rest of the test
So here's the thing with points: if you are the harshest to yourself when calculating them, chances are the nursing department was a lot more lenient. I would suggest you send in/email an unofficial transcript to Jeana and have her calculate your points. Then just work your way up from there :) You're applying for the Fall of 2015, right?

Thank you Jade! I have a question, so basically if you have enough points above the cut off you get in? Also, how do you like Midwestern so far?
