Grossmont Nursing Spring 2017 Cohort

Nursing Students School Programs

Hi! Good luck to everyone who applied for Spring 2017! I just wanted to start a thread for those of us anxiously awaiting to hear back. I will be applying to Mira Costa and Palomar, as well as SDCCD and southwestern later in the year. How many points does everyone thing they had? From what I've read, it seems like most cohorts hear back in mid-late September. I wish everyone the best!

I applied too and I can't wait to hear!!! I *think* I had 86 points. I haven't decided if I am going to apply anywhere else yet. Maybe Southwestern in the fall. I wish it was September already.

I too applied for this this cohort. believe I got about 87 points. I know we wont hear back for a while still, but I am already obsessively checking my email!

I made a mistake and calculated something twice somehow. I have about 77 points. Does anyone know the average points an individual gets? I am curious what my chances are for getting in.

You have really good chances! I have a friend that got in with 74 for the fall. Did they tell you when you'd hear when you applied? I know I just want to know, but it takes forever!

They didn't give me any details about when I would hear back. I have heard from other people that it takes about 6 weeks.

I applied for the Spring 2017 cohort too. I calculated about 72 points. My science GPA was 3.3 and my TEAS was 87%. What did everyone else get?

BYRSH, how did you get 86 pts? What was your GPA and TEAS score?

My science GPA was 4.0, fixed set was 3.5, and I got an 89 on the TEAS. But I have a bachelors and I work in a hospital so I got those extra points.

Omg! I'm so happy I found this thread! Lol I applied for this cohort and have been checking my email everyday.. (I keep thinking "maybe this is the semester they'll notify us earlier" lol) If they give me full points, I should have 78! Good luck to everyone!

Your thread has been moved to the Nursing Schools / Colleges forum where the other school specific discussions are. We hope you will receive additional responses in this new location.

Which program did everyone apply for? ADN or step-up?
