Elmhurst College NME fall 2016

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone applied for NME at Elmhurst College for Fall 2016 and if you heard back from them. I applied mid December and haven't heard anything yet. It is too early, I know, since the deadline was I believe today. Anyway, I don't know too much about this program and would appreciate any intel from alumni, current students or applicants. Thanks!

I applied last week and am waiting, too. I went through last year's forum and I bet they'll start reaching out to applicants later this month.

Yeah, I got an invite to schedule an interview with them for the week of Feb 22. So they are starting. The interviews are via Skype, although I'm from Chicago...Do you know more about this program? It's hybrid? How does that work?

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with the program beyond what it says on the website. Good luck on your interview! Should be interesting....I lucked out at my current job and did everything over skype since I was still living in Guatemala. I'm in the bay area (in California) now, so skype will be handy if I get an interview.

When did they let you know?

Just last week. They sent dates to set up interview from next week till March 3rd...maybe 5 available dates all together. Mine is on Feb 23.

Did you apply to any other schools as well?

Quite a few schools. I had started just with UCSF, Samuel Merritt and SFSU, then USD and now several other ELMSN and ABSN programs around the country. I wasn't expecting it to be so competitive and was hoping Spanish fluency would be a plus so I'll need add something more if I still don't get accepted anywhere. How about you?

Hi guys,

I had my interview today....it went ok, I think. There were 5 of them in the cometee and they were all really nice. They also told me there's an open house on March 19th so if you didnt visit the campus so far, there's a chance.

Is there anyone else who hasn't heard anything from Elmhurst? If they already sent out their invites for interviews, they should have also sent out rejections.
