Direct Entry of nursing Fall 2018 at Simmons

Hi everyone,

I didnt see a forum for this so I thought I would start one. I applied to Simmons College Direct Entry for fall of 2018. I was reading older threads and it seems like people dont hear back until mid january

Well, no email but I did receive a rejection letter unfortunately. So I'm not sure if that means those of you who got emails got accepted and those who didn't were rejected? Good luck!

I haven't received an email either. In fact, out of the 5 programs I've applied to, I've heard from Simmons the least. I received the initial, "Thanks for applying" email, but nothing after that.

Also really hoping for a letter! I live in California so it may not be practical to expect that the letter will arrive today all the way from Boston, but one can dream :)

Allisonnn317: I live in Boston and did not receive a letter yesterday, though I did get that Admission Decision Email sent on Friday. I'm hoping to receive something after work today and the wait is killing me. I'll keep everyone posted! Also, the email did say "sending admission decisions out in the mail today through next week" which means maybe a few letters are being sent out later this week? UGH, I may be reading too much in to it.

I would think that if we're all expected to RECEIVE the letter by Friday then they must've mailed them all out the day the email was sent

Hey everyone! My mail just came and no letter yet! I only live about 40 mins outside of Boston so I was hoping it would have come today, but I guess we have another day of waiting.

That must mean they are mailing the letters in batches, because there's no way that letters mailed from Boston on Friday haven't arrived in MA yet on Tuesday

Im from right outside of Boston too, I'd be shocked if we don't have them by today or tomorrow since they said we should know by the latest Friday.

I live in Boston and didn't get a letter today. I did have a very nice chat with my mail person though after he caught me anxiously waiting by the mailbox!
