CCAC FALL 2018 hopefuls and more

Nursing Students School Programs

Hello!

This is being created for the CCAC nursing students who have applied to the Fall 2018 semester. I saw one that was created for the Spring 2018 and thought it would be great to connect and share information for those of us that are hoping for this coming Fall.

So, when do you think we will hear back if we got in or not?

What were your TEAS scores?

How many of you have taken the prereqs and supporting classes?

What campus did you choose and why?

Is this your first career or are you looking for a second career?

I'll put my answers in the comments below. I look forward to connecting with you all and am excited to hear about your adventures!

That's strange. Did you submit/took your TEAS before the deadline? Maybe you were missing something?

It's so hard to get answers from CCAC because they never reply back......... :(

sorry! had to make a new account! I took the teas at ccac south in December, and they automatically receive the scores. I turned everything in and was even told by rick (guy behind registration office) my finalized finished application was scanned into my student account and that I had everything I needed. I emailed amber and she has yet to respond and its been a week :( just hoping everything works out!

Same thing happened to me, don't panic! Email the nursing admissions department, they email right back and can verify if everything was turned it and complete. They told me the email was sent to my ccac account but I def did not receive it. I however was relieved to know nothing was wrong with my application.

Yes Intol have been looking at shoes and even long sleeve shirts to wear under neath hahah. I don't Hanna get my hope up too high!!!!! Ahh

Amber Emailed me back finally and said she has everything for me and the applications are being processed and we should receive our responses in the mail sometime next week! How Exciting!! Positive thoughts! I cant wait to hear who gets accepted!!

Hi all! I applied for Fall Allegheny evening as my first choice, Boyce evening as my second choice. I had emailed several times to see if anyone received my application and never heard back. I then read on here about people getting an email from Amber Reed, which I never got either. When I emailed her, she responded fairly quickly but only to state the email was sent to my ccac email, which I definitely never got. She didn't confirm whether or not they got everything they needed for my application though, so I guess I'm just going to hope it all went through! (I applied via email). Good luck to everyone!

I am so stinking nervous and trying to pretend that I won't be devistated if I don't get in is getting harder and harder to do!

What classes does everyone have done?

All I will need after this semester is A&P 2 and micro.

I am taking A&P 2 over the summer and then I'll only have micro left!

Think positive! I'm sure since she said she did email you and you just didnt get it she has everything for you! And I took everything except micro which I'm taking this fall!

Hi everyone! I'm SO SO glad I found this thread and I'm not the only crazy person searching for this stuff haha. I'm concerned because I have completed everything and sent in my application before priority deadline but did not receive that confirmation email I saw you post!? I've been in contact with Amber Reed since then and she didn't say anything...do you think I'm okay? She said she emailed me but I didn't receive anything. I've been stalking my mail every day so I hope next week is the week! I applied for LPN-RN program.

Hi guys, I too have applied and never recieved an email and I applied in February. I also contacted Amber by email but she has yet to get back which is fine I understand she is busy, but now this email has me anxious because what if I'm not considered in the priority deadline anymore?!

Yes I applied too and then never send you a confirmation saying they got it and I even emailed Amber as well and she never responded so it's very nerve racking!
