This is being created for the CCAC nursing students who have applied to the Fall 2018 semester. I saw one that was created for the Spring 2018 and thought it would be great to connect and share information for those of us that are hoping for this coming Fall.

Can anyone help me for castle branch, they won't respond my emails and the wait for the phone is too long! I'm trying to send in my BLS CPR card but it keeps getting rejected! What does it mean to have it signed and copied front and back!!!? I just got a card AHA, that's it!
My BLS AHA was accepted and it was an electronic ecard that had no signature. They told me the signature wasn't given with AHA anymore. I'd read the fine print one last time and then triple check your upload size and type and then call if you have to.
Does anyone use (or can recommend) any apps to brush up on A&P? It's been a few years since i had both A&P 1 and 2 and I'm afraid i may need to look over everything before school starts. Thanks!!
Hello, can someone answer these questions for me for the first semester of nursing can I rent any of my textbooks or I just have to buy them all? What is in the book bag that we would need for lab? And what should I expect at orientation since it is a few hours?
I'm going to North, so I'm not sure the same applies. I suspect it does. The nursing tote is a required purchase according to our documents. Some books can be rented. The Lippincott and ATI stuff (if you have it on your list) however can not because it is an online program in which you need your own account. You can purchase the Lippincott at a direct discount from their website. Other books can be rented or you can always buy used if you can find it. ..double check with professor though on used copies. Finally, the orientation is where we find out more about the program and I was told it is when we receive our clinical assignments.
