CCAC FALL 2018 hopefuls and more

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello!

This is being created for the CCAC nursing students who have applied to the Fall 2018 semester. I saw one that was created for the Spring 2018 and thought it would be great to connect and share information for those of us that are hoping for this coming Fall.

So, when do you think we will hear back if we got in or not?

What were your TEAS scores?

How many of you have taken the prereqs and supporting classes?

What campus did you choose and why?

Is this your first career or are you looking for a second career?

I'll put my answers in the comments below. I look forward to connecting with you all and am excited to hear about your adventures!

Haha... already tried. Doesn't work.

Hi guys, I thought I would enter the chat as I am anxiously waiting like all of you! I'm a rare case where I'm still in high school but I was able to complete all of my prerequisite courses through AP classes. I have a few coreqs finished too but not all of them. I got an 83 on my teas which isn't the best but I'm happy since I didn't know a bit of the anatomy science questions. I really hope I get accepted even though I'm this weird rare case! Good luck to you all, hopefully less than a week left!

Hey Everyone!!! So glad I came across this thread!! I'm also anxiously awaiting this week to hear back!! Hopefully sooner in the week rather then later!!! I had to email Amber to make sure they received my application weeks ago and it took her at least two weeks to even respond back, I'm sure she is busy with the whole application process. I'm hoping I get into North Campus Evening program and have all the pre-req's done. Good Luck to everyone!!

I'm going for North too! I was second guessing Boyce though because I like how they offer summer courses so I may try to transfer but I have a year before it matters.

I really want to know what's added to the app score............

It's Monday! This week could be the week! Two things can happen here: 1. You get in. 2. You don't get in. Either one is useful because both direct us to our next move. Both moves require diligence and work and belief in ourselves.

Being accepted means we have new stressors our life and big goals to achieve. Being declined offers the exact same...stressors and new goals... Whatever the decision is this week, don't let it define you, but rather let your actions that follow define you. Remember, this decision is just a little part of your lifelong story. Know who you are and let the best version of that person show up to help you move forward to obtain your goals. You can do this! You were born for this week! I'm right here and so excited to witness what comes with you! í ½í²—

Hi All,

I am currently in the Boyce Fast Track program and am set to graduate this December. From what I can remember I received my letter on April 12th, so you all should probably be hearing something this week, if not then early next week. I know this waiting game is so nerve wracking, and you're probably stalking the mailman, daily LOL! If anyone has any questions about anything feel free to PM me or ask on this post. Good Luck to you all!!
