CCAC FALL 2018 hopefuls and more

Published

Hello!

This is being created for the CCAC nursing students who have applied to the Fall 2018 semester. I saw one that was created for the Spring 2018 and thought it would be great to connect and share information for those of us that are hoping for this coming Fall.

So, when do you think we will hear back if we got in or not?

What were your TEAS scores?

How many of you have taken the prereqs and supporting classes?

What campus did you choose and why?

Is this your first career or are you looking for a second career?

I'll put my answers in the comments below. I look forward to connecting with you all and am excited to hear about your adventures!

Congratulations!! I'm stalking my mailbox. No luck today but hopefully tomorrow, now my hopes are all up that we all hear this week!

I got nothing either today. Ok...I'm officially getting impatient. Haha. I live in Beaver County so I kind of expect it to take longer. My kids are watching a cartoon that is singing " Good things come to those who wait! ". Perfect timing Muppet Babies... perfect timing.

Congratulations!! I'm so nervous and impatient now!!!!!

Thank you!!! I'm beyond sure everyone in this group will get in! :)

Informed delivery says no mail today :(

Same here but I only signed up for it just now so not sure how accurate it is. My anxiety is killing me!!

Thank you!!! I'm beyond sure everyone in this group will get in! :)

Did your admission status change on my.ccac?

how do you view admission status on my ccac?

prospective student -> admission info -> admission status.

I'm just trying to figure out if there are any loop holes to nursing admissions where we can know before the letter arrives lolol

Thanks! It makes me nervous hearing the seats have to be claimed by the 13th and we might not be getting our letters until the 12th or 13th! What if something goes wrong?! I cant take the suspense hahaha I'd like to think priority applicants would all be accepted unless you had a low GPA or something...so it goes by a points system?

I tried emailing Amber about the letters but she hasn't answered yet.

I agree! The 13th is so soon? How can they do that if people haven't even heard back yet?

Finally got a response from Amber! LPN-RN priority applicants find out later....she said another couple weeks. IM DYING I can't take the suspense anymore! I guess I don't have to stalk to mail lady for another 2 weeks haha I hope all of you who applied for regular RN programs get in! I'm sure you will. Hopefully I'll be able to meet some of you in the fall :)
