Hi everyone,

I applied to SRJC ADN and wanted to see who else applied. I'm new to Allnurses, so my apologies if there is already a thread. If you know any info about when they are emailing us, or if you know other details, please share. Good luck everyone!!

I applied to the SRJC ADN program this year also! It's my first time applying so I am new to the whole acceptance process. From what I read about previous years they email the status of your application by June. I'm crossing my fingers! Best of luck to you as well. :)

Hi guys! I applied too! As a matter of fact I applied last year and got in, after being high up enough on the wait list! Unfortunately I was not able to attend and am once again keeping my fingers crossed for this year. However, If I don't get in, I have everything you need minus the book bundle and will want to sell them. Any day/moment now! I found out on the 28th last year!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

I also applied for the 16/17 ADN program. This will be my second time applying. Keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck to the rest of you!

Hey everyone,

I just got my letter this morning in my email. I was not accepted for admission for the Fall 2016/ Spring 2017 program. But the letter says I am on the alternate list and that I have a possibility of being accepted if space becomes available due to people declining their spot or not passing the Teas test. They gave me a Teas test date as well to take in June. I don't really know how the alternate list works, can anyone tell me if my chances of getting in are good? How many people become alternates? I am still holding on to every ounce of hope that space becomes available for me. Good luck to you!

Hi All, I am excited I got in for Fall 2016! I'm really anxious about it, but so grateful too! I'll keep you alternate list people and the ones who didn't get, in in my thoughts. I felt so discouraged when I didn't get into 2 schools before this. Try to trust it will work out how it's supposed to.

Congratulations, CGD1.

rebo1234 - I also am on the alternate list. I don't know too much about it. I called the school Friday to confirm they would not give me my place on the alternate list. I'm also wondering how many people are on the alternate list and how likely people who got accepted will drop. Any information on the alternate list will be greatly appreciated :)

Hey guys! I got in for Spring 2017!!!! Rebo123 and Cherrydoodle, last year I was high on the alternate list, took the teas on their specified day, and got in. As a matter of fact I think most people if not all got in if they were asked to take the teas. I am so happy for everyone!!!

That's good news for us, Rebo1234! Fingers crossed we get in.

Congrats to getting in, rashael!

Congrats Rashael and CDG1, I'm happy to hear you guys got in!! Also, that is great news to hear about the alternates!! I hope it is still true for this year! Can anyone tell me how their experience with the TEAS test was? This will be my first time taking it so I'm not sure what to expect. I'm going to the bookstore tomorrow to pick up a study guide. Is it hard at all or mostly straight forward knowledge?

REBO it is absolutely strait forward knowledge! BUT!!! It is also timed and you honestly get very little of it! So study up and just remember to be quick. Your score does not have to be stellar but the time restraints are tough. Good Luck and I'm sure you will do just fine!

You have a good chance of getting in. Study for the TEAS, the SRJC program is no joke-hard work, but great program. I'm halfway thru.
