    Last December, I took all 3 - 10 day intercessions at WOSC. Transferred as 9 credit hours - SO SO EASY!!!! Had the complete 10 days of work done like in the first 3-4 days and then just waited for it to be over!! They also have the intercessions in Spring and summer too, I think - lots of stuff that will transfer - def a cross-cultural, music, and nutrition

    Was there a lot of writing in the intersession courses? I just can envision a 10 day course NOT being tons of work. What's the format in general?

    Depends on the class - music was a test - open book - over every few chapters, one - two page paper of a music type article and a critiques of two musical events such as a church service, concert, school play, etc -

    Phil was tests and three 2 page papers - could take each test twice to get a better grade

    Soc was about the same

    Can do all the work in one day or weekend or do a little each day!
    MUCH less work than the classes at OU --IMHO

    I agree.....I HATE fashion AND Culture. I'm taking it now.......HORRIBLE CLASS

    Well this is good news!!! Excuse me for sounding dumb.....if a class is 4 credits at OU, how can they accept one that's 3 from WOSC?

    When the classes at OU are 4 credits, that is because it is based on the 5 week or 10 week course. When the credit is transferred in to OU they convert the credits to be equal. With the changes to semesters it actually drops the number of credits required to graduate. I think I read somewhere a typical 3 credit course is the equivalent of 4.5 credits at OU.

    I'm taking a spring intersession class. The college will only let me take one at a time. was it that same for you?
