Ohio RN to BSN - Electives

Nursing Students Ohio University

Hi all - thought it was time to start a new thread that dealt with electives. I'll start!! Business Comm - has anyone in Prof F's class gotten their book review completed? I am up to word 1150 or so ... and still have my evaluation and conclusion to add. Not sure what he is looking for - the last "book report/review" I did was 40 years ago! I don't think he minds .. verbose! I got an "excellent" on everything I have submitted so far that has gone over the required ...

Well the new combined 441 is posted as 9 credits. So I'm wondering myself, lol.

What class is 441?? I am confused now. 9 credits...sheesh!

Sorry, it's the combined Transitions and legal/ethics class. This will be the first course they offered the combined. Yeah, I registered and about had a heart attack when I saw it registered as 9 credits. Glad I decided not to try and take 2 classes at once.

I just looked at the schedule...it is 451 and listed as 6 credit hours. I think they have to make it 6 so you have the right amount of credits to graduate.

I'll have to go look again then. Because it is charging me as 9 credits for the one class.

OK, must have been another glitch with their system. Because it's no longer showing as 9, like it originally was when I first registered. That is much better, lol

Keep us posted on what the class is like. I know this is your first class with OU online...just wondering if they are going to give you ALL the work for each class combined.

I can post the requirements we had for Transitions to see how it compares. Best wishes.

I'll let you know. I'm kinda hoping they got rid of the big group project that was such a pain for everyone in Legal/ethics.

Clarification: 4510 is the combination of 300 and 335, 4520 is 310 and325, 4580 is 445 and 416.

You are speaking of registering. Are you registering for next fall already? Did I miss something along the way. Now I'm wondering if it's best to get 445 and 416 out of the way early. Thoughts? Where are you seeing the credit hours for these courses?

Transitions and Legal is now called 451 while we are still in quarters sessions. She is speaking of registering for spring 2012 classes. They have already combined Transitions and Legal starting March 26th.

Ohhhh... I thought it was 4510. I didn't know they were combining before fall. Sorry, I'll just mind my own, lol!

Someone PLEASE tell me the shortest route to finding which classes are offered on the 5 week schedule. I keep getting the 10 weeks. I should know how to do this by now...but usually I just finally stumble upon it. Thank you!

Just got something in catmail that said Summer registration starts April 10 for some. And Fall registration starts May 14.
