Hi all - thought it was time to start a new thread that dealt with electives. I'll start!! Business Comm - has anyone in Prof F's class gotten their book review completed? I am up to word 1150 or so ... and still have my evaluation and conclusion to add. Not sure what he is looking for - the last "book report/review" I did was 40 years ago! I don't think he minds .. verbose! I got an "excellent" on everything I have submitted so far that has gone over the required ...

Well this is good news!!! Excuse me for sounding dumb.....if a class is 4 credits at OU, how can they accept one that's 3 from WOSC?

When the classes at OU are 4 credits, that is because it is based on the 5 week or 10 week course. When the credit is transferred in to OU they convert the credits to be equal. With the changes to semesters it actually drops the number of credits required to graduate. I think I read somewhere a typical 3 credit course is the equivalent of 4.5 credits at OU.

Last December, I took all 3 - 10 day intercessions at WOSC. Transferred as 9 credit hours - SO SO EASY!!!! Had the complete 10 days of work done like in the first 3-4 days and then just waited for it to be over!! They also have the intercessions in Spring and summer too, I think - lots of stuff that will transfer - def a cross-cultural, music, and nutrition

I'm taking a spring intersession class. The college will only let me take one at a time. was it that same for you?

Wooo Hooo! I have one whole slide created for my PowerPoint presentation!! Going like gangbusters here!! Power keeps going out - losing everything I am working on when it does ..... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

PowerPoint is completed! Now just need to write the silly manual that goes with it. Having issues with it - it really makes little sense to me but what else is new.

AGREE - and wayyy past caring!!!!!!!! I have like 7 pages of crap - need 5 more sources to have my 10 - blah, blah, blah!

For me bus comm has been by far my favorite class at OU. Prof P made it such an interesting and relevant class. Had a lot of reflective and life lesson content in that class. So yes, if you can take it from Prof P, do it!!

I need to take Bus Communications. I am holding out on the rumor that they may change it to a 5 week class. I am slightly concerned about the combined nursing classes and how much work will be involved. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

Well the new combined 441 is posted as 9 credits. So I'm wondering myself, lol.
